Is FreeResumePro.com really free?
Yes. There are no paywalls, premium tiers, advertisements, or watermarks on your downloaded PDF.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored locally in your browser (LocalStorage). We do not store your personal information on our servers. This ensures your privacy while allowing you to come back and continue editing later, provided you use the same browser and device.
Features & Usage
Can I start with a template example?
Yes. In the sidebar, click the "Load Example" button to browse more than 60 role-specific resume examples across technology, business, healthcare, creative, and education roles.

The template gallery uses lightweight layout thumbnails, so you can compare the overall hierarchy before opening a full template page.
How do I clear my data and start over?
You can click the "Reset Data" button in the sidebar to clear all fields and start fresh. Additionally, after you download your PDF, we'll ask if you want to reset the form for a new resume.
Are the templates ATS-friendly?
The templates use selectable text, familiar section headings, and a clear reading order. Classic and Minimal provide especially straightforward layouts. Applicant tracking systems vary, so no template can guarantee identical parsing everywhere.
Troubleshooting
My download is blocked or failing?
PDF generation happens in your browser, and the resume content is not sent to a PDF-generation server. If the download does not start, check your browser download settings, refresh the page, or try a current browser version.
How do I report a bug?
You can report issues using the "Report a Bug" link found in the sidebar of the resume builder or in the footer of any page. We appreciate your feedback!
